Vegan Granola Bars Recipe
Oh how I love granola!
After making my Vegan Vanilla Blueberry Granola Tart which was a success at home, I thought I would make granola bars for dessert. This time I decided to add a drizzle of melted dark chocolate because chocolate make things even more enjoyable, right?
Easy and Gluten-Free Granola Bars
These granola bars are SO easy to make and take less than 15 minutes. They are a lot healthier than store-bought bars since they don’t contain any gluten, oil or refined sugar. This recipe makes 6 medium-sized bars so feel free to make a double batch if you meal prep for your family and want them to last you a week.
How to Make Vegan Granola Bars
To make these easy granola bars, all you have to do is combine oats, peanut butter and agave syrup until evenly coated.
Then, transfer the mixture to a baking pan or a silicone bar baking mold and press down so the granola sticks together.
Bake, let cool, add a drizzle of melted chocolate and sprinkle some unsweetened shredded coconut on top. Now you can enjoy one (or three) of these delicious bars!
Do These Granola Bars Contain Only 4 Ingredients?
YES! These delicious granola bars are made with oats, peanut butter, agave syrup and a drizzle of dark chocolate. That’s it! No oil, no refined sugar. My family and I love them because they take less than 15 minutes to make and are healthy and delicious 🙂

- 2 cups gluten-free oats (200 g)
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (65 g)
- 1/4 cup agave syrup or maple syrup (60 ml)
- 1 handful chopped almonds (optional)
- 1/8 cup dark chocolate chips (20 g), melted
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375F or 190C.
Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish lined with parchment paper or use a silicone bar baking mold. Press down so the granola sticks together.
Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown and let cool completely. If you used a baking dish, cut the granola into bars. If you used a silicone mold, gently remove the bars from the mold and place them on a cooling rack to cool.
Once the bars are cooled, drizzle some melted chocolate on top and sprinkle some shredded coconut. Enjoy!
